Known issues

This release upgrades Hazelcast to version 5.3.1 which adds socket options for per-socket keep-alive configuration. When running Payara on Windows, this version of Hazelcast throws a warning in the server logs, similar to this: "Ignoring TCP_KEEPCOUNT. It seems your JDK does not support jdk.net.ExtendedSocketOptions on this OS. Try upgrading to the latest JDK or check with your JDK vendor. Alternatively, on Linux, configure tcp_keepalive_probes in the kernel (affecting default keep-alive configuration for all sockets). This is a Hazelcast known issue that is documented here.

Payara 6 Enterprise is the fully supported Jakarta EE 10 and MicroProfile 6 runtime for developing and deploying Jakarta EE applications on-premise, in the cloud or hybrid. This release focused on improving its stability and performance. If you are currently a Payara Platform Community user and would like to migrate to the fully supported, production ready Payara Platform Enterprise 6, pleasereach out to usand one of our Customer Success Engineers will get back to you.
