Devnexus 2025 has wrapped up, and what an incredible event it was! As one of the largest gatherings of Java developers, this year’s conference was particularly special as we celebrated Java’s 30th anniversary. Developers, architects, and technology enthusiasts from around the world gathered in Atlanta from March 4-6, sharing knowledge, networking, and exploring the latest advancements in the Java ecosystem.

The Java community is what makes Devnexus so special, and this year was no exception. We were delighted to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones across the halls, at the Jakarta EE booth, and during social events.
A huge thank-you to Shabnam Mayel and the entire Jakarta EE team for hosting us at their vibrant booth. It was a fantastic space for exchanging ideas and sharing the latest Jakarta EE developments.
We also had the pleasure of catching up with Ivar Grimstad, Michael Redlich (who gave a standout talk on Jakarta EE 11), and many other long-standing community members who continue to push the Java ecosystem forward.
The conference also provided an opportunity to celebrate Java’s 30th anniversary, reflecting on its evolution and the vibrant community that continues to drive innovation. From deep-dive sessions to casual networking chats, Devnexus 2025 reinforced the strength of the Java ecosystem and its bright future.
