Payara Server and Payara Micro Provide Support for Yubikey
Yubikey is a USB hardware authentication device created by Yubico. It generates one time passwords based on FIDO public/private key pairs. It is most commonly combined with the usual username and password to create two Factor Authentication (2FA).
Since the Payara Platform 5.182 and 184.108.40.206 a Yubikey identity store based on the latest Java EE 8 Security API exists. Accompanying the YubikeyIdentityStore is a TwoIdentityStoreAuthenticationMechanism. This follows the same style as Java EE 8 Security API's CustomFormAuthenticationMechanism. The mechanism is also compatible with any two identity stores, not just the Yubikey Identity Store.
